White Elephant
A tribute to one of Haifa’s most visible abandoned landmarks.
The old Egged bus station stands at one of the city’s major intersections, once a busy gateway to Haifa and today a massive structure left behind.
The building became a white elephant in the most literal sense: prominent, impossible to ignore, full of potential, yet standing empty in the middle of a city that continues to move around it.
This original Vandalized illustration reflects my relationship with Haifa and its abandoned architecture. The white elephant stands in front of the forgotten station as a symbol of places that were once essential to the city and have since been left without a new purpose.
Designed in Haifa.
Inspired by the city we inherited.
For those who see what could still be.
